How long will it take me to get up and running?
Between 2 and 10 days depending whether you use a template, your store is currently online or you are having one created.

How long do I have to sign up for?
There is a minimum sign up time of three months and after this Myshop247 requires a months notice to cancel the service. However due to the slow take up of your target market to purchase goods online rather than through other distribution chancels, we suggest that you are at least sign up for 6 months.

I already have a domain name, Internet access and email. Will I have to switch ISP in order to join Myshop247?
All the hosting will be done by MyShop247, but you do not need to change your domain name or email.
Will there be an extra charge for this?
No - it is all part of the package.

I do not have a Bank Merchant's Account. Can you set one up for me?
You will have to apply for a merchant account from your own bank.
How long will it take?
This depends on your bank.

What if my bank will not give me a Merchant's Account?
Sorry - we can't help you!

What charges apply to an online Merchant Accounts?
Again this will depend on your chosen bank.

What are the charges for the Payment Service Provider (PSP)?
All PSP's charge different rates but we will work with you to chose the right PSP for you e-commerce solution.

Is MyShop247 secure?
Yes, MyShop247 uses a128-bit SSL Server encryption from BT Trustwise, which is brand new to UK and state of the art.

Do I need any special software to create and manage an online shop using MyShop247?
No just a browser.

Can I pick a look and feel for my online store?
You can opt for using a pre-designed template or for an added cost you can have a bespoke website designed by a web designer that will help you create what you are looking for.

What is the maximum number of products that can be displayed?
There is no maximum.

Can I upload my own images to my online store?
Yes

How easy is it for me to change my on-line display when I have new stock or special offers?
You can add a new department in seconds.

Can I set taxes for my online store?
Yes

Can I set multiple delivery costs?
Yes

Once I've created my online store, what browser version must a shopper be using to browse and make a purchase?

Do I have access to any sales reports or other analysis?

What sort of legal issues do I need to consider?
The laws for ecommerce and trade differ from country to country and the legal framework in the UK is still being set up.
